The 15th Annual PASTELS ON 5TH brings a rainbow of color
to downtown Loveland! The free event takes place Saturday,
September 13, 2025 from 10 - 5 PM at 503 N. Lincoln Avenue.
Pastels on 5th is a one‑day sidewalk chalk art festival that highlights
one of Loveland’s most distinguishing features, its renowned arts
community. The
event features over
150 professional,
amateur and
student artists,
and a children’s
art area. Festivities
include “People’s
Choice” voting,
food, crafts, and
live music.
The exhibit serves
as a major benefit
for the Loveland
501c3 nonprofit
Alternatives to Violence, as businesses and organizations pay
for sidewalk space for the artists representing them. Alternatives
to Violence has been helping survivors of domestic violence
since 1982.

FIND YOUR HEART IN LOVELAND!
Known as “The Sweetheart City,” Loveland has a big heart! HeArt
sculptures are all around town, and you’ll have fun finding all
30 hearts designed by local artists!
The 5’ tall fiberglass sculptures are commissioned by people -
usually local businesses - who get to name the HeART, with a
design created for them by an artist. The Loveland Chamber of
Commerce oversees the “City with HeART™” program, with
new HeArts added annually.
See a map of the current hearts and artists at loveland.org/
programs/city-with-heart.
